A clip inspired by one I saw posted last night by Watsamadoing
( http://www.youtube.com/user/Watsamadoing ) & the fact that I haven't done a worm feeding clip... I have blogged on in it before but clips get more across I think...
Here are some worm posts from the blog including the creation of the large barrel farm, http://bitsouttheback.blogspot.com/search/label/Worms
Have a great one all....

  • please respond i picked up some night crawlers and red crawlers and the night crawlers dont look very active do they need to eat and get use to the prosess first?? thanks

  • @ima14yearoldmechanic Hi there...

Just a thought but it could be the winter cold if you are in a northern zone like I think you are...

I have seen people use hot water bottles & other heating methods to warm their bins/farms to help stimulate the worms into feeding... There are clips on YT heating the bins.. I did see a guy who used a fish tank heater in a container of water within the bin to warm it...

Just my thoughts & hope it helps you out..

    Have a great one...

  • Your tips are very helpful, but if I had used my wife's good knife and blender I would have been worm food.

  • @emsapowell do they enjoy it ???

Our 13yo is getting rather slack at the moment but that comes in cycles I think...
