Micro-brewed (uh...micro-pissed) in BG, Ohio... the last rwo tracks from PA's 2000 demolicious CD. Denny's audio engineering is notable in 'I Want You Back'--the sound quality is excellent.
Images in this two-song audio/video montage are notable scenic landmarks from Bowling Green, Ohio, USA, a quaint mid-western university town and the birthplace of the Piss Artists. "Piss" is the British metaphor for drunkenness or alcoholic beverages and, indeed, pints of booze served as the amniotic fluid for PA's genesis.
Trk 13: I Want You Back
Trk 14: I Can See Right Through the Trees
Piss Artists are:
Iain "Piss" Ellis (Vocal)
Billy "Axe" Hanway (guitar)
Denny "Knobs" Austin (drums)
Recorded on 4-track, 1999
Iain Ellis

Born in Manchester and raised east of London, Iain Ellis spent his formative years playing, performing, and consuming a heavy diet of punk rock music and football. In 1986, the young man went west to find his dreams in Bowling Green, Ohio. Instead, he picked up a PhD in American Culture Studies, writing his dissertation on 1980s American Punk Culture. In 2000, he traveled further west, settling in Lawrence, Kansas, where he currently teaches English and Youth Culture Studies at the University of Kansas. You may also enjoy his book, Rebels Wit Attitude: Subversive Rock Humorists.
