@osmanogami It was during his trial in France, where he pleaded not guilty (he got sentenced to life in November). Of course its a strategy to deny any ties between the movie and what really happened.

Yo he visto la miniserie, está bien, aunque como dicen por aqui, "dramatizan" demasiado, pero, joder, claro, Es una pelicula!!!. Como curiosidad, me he enterado que el secuestro de miembros de la OPEP, fue respaldado por Gadafi unicamente, no por Saddam Hussein como dicen en la peli. También curioso es ver al actor aleman Christoph Bach, uno de las celulas revolucionarias alemanas. Es clavadito a Robert de Niro de joven....!!!

According to Ilich Ramirez Sanchez, the movie is not about him, as it higly manipulates its character. So no, its not a movie about Ilich R.S., its just a movie, though with some propagandistic intentions!
