@deadmau5131997 people give up immediately because the whole world is currently oriented on instant satisfaction, and results in small "easy to swallow pills".
people aren't educated towards thinking in long term goals, so in a world where we're used to getting a meal in under 30 seconds at a burger joint, we get frustrated when we can't get a masters degree instantly, let alone the YEARS take to master something like the piano.
Same with obesity, education, war, you name it.

Its crazy how people don't understand that degrees can be either fahrenheit or celsius

how much does a piano like that weigh?

30 DEGREES? Here in Arizona, 110 just a little warm!

Why aren't there dampers on the high frequency strings?
EricThyrgaardBass 6 months ago
@EricThyrgaardBass :) I'm sure there are many reasons, but one reason is that high frequency strings decay quickly. When the high note is played, very quickly it dies out, so there isn't as much of a need for a damper there. Also, keeping those top strings open to sympathetic vibrations could be another reason.
