  • The Romans had a great ethnical impact on France, as Galliae were the most romanized Roman provinces. People from southern France ( Provence, from the Roman Provincia ), have today exactely the same phenotypic "colours" of northern Italians. Southern France had also Greek and Arab influences, though not consistent ones. The Alans were Iranic tribes and they didn't affect France ethnically, or at least not more than what the Huns did for example. Many Romans were Celtic descendants too.

  • @Senyorpiroteknik Right. All the European cultures ( and especially the barbaric ones ), tried to mantain and to make their own at all costs the Roman civilization, laws, technology, symbols and so on... something that started even before the fell of the Roman Empire and has actually never stopped. From a person belonging to western culture opposing the Roman Empire is not only a clear sign of ignorance but but also an insult to his own culture.

  • Too bad the Germans weren't part of the Roman empire. European history would have been very different.

  • @Risinguptotheair You have nothing to say exactly because you are wrong. I asked, which civilization exterminated other civilization. You said nothing honest about that, and yet you forget Obelish Ships that were EGYTIAN technology not Roman. Roman rulers are devils, but there were many good people among Romans no doubt. I say, that Rome, was evil not it's people. And I say we should get good things from Romans and not forget those things...

  • @GuitarDestroyer77777 Totally uncorrect. I'm not going to reply again. I've written 4 answers below about peoples who extermined others, I don't run away, because with you I don't need it. My answers have been enoguh. Good bye

  • @Risinguptotheair Obelisk thing, Egyptian technology not Roman. And Carthaginians 99% of them were in Carthage, they were killed, gencide... And my other question, which other civilizations exterminated other people? Answer me and do not run away.

  • @GuitarDestroyer77777 Carthage of course they did (!), but not all the Carthaginians in Northern Africa. An advise consider always the times of the events: the Romans did horrible things but other people did the same at those times: the Romans simply extended those methods in quality the bossy neighbour who wanted always to expand. I have answered to those questions anyway, havent you read below?

  • @Risinguptotheair Hehe, this conversation is wasting both of our times. But please, I did not invent that Romans exterminated Carthage, they did. Not everybody else is cool, and Roman people are not all devils, there were good and bad people among Romans just like good and bad people among others, it's just that Roman leaders were devils. Now, I really do not want to continue this nonsense (just like you). If you do want to continue, PM me, and answer my two questions I asked you. With honesty.

  • @GuitarDestroyer77777 In the end, I don't mind about who you are, what you think: I simply don't like people that invent history to justify weird ideas such as "the Romans were killers and all the other people were cool" and so on: I don't want to waist time to reply you. We have different ideas, till now you tried to support them ( -.- ), and ok, this is it. Would we stop all this or do you want to be corrected each time that you write something? Actually you've said almost nothing true

  • @GuitarDestroyer77777 About the obelisk I have already replied: Egyptians had already ships to transport obelisks, and the Romans exploited them. Romans had btw a much stronger navy than the Egyptians, thanks to their own genius. You wanted to demonstrate that the Romans couldn't transport heavy blocks of rock, but the obelisk of 230 tons was transported inland and hoisted by the men of the Roman navy, so as you see you were wrong.

  • @GuitarDestroyer77777 Cartaginians didn't disappear as men and women: what you've said is basically wrong, also if the Romans actually slaughtered many of them. The greatest slaughter was during the conquest of Gaul, and yes, that was insane. If you had read you'd see that I have already mentioned you the Germanic peoples, the Saxons and I could say many of them. If you talk about quantities it's obvious that since the Roman E. was larger they killed many people, but other peoples did the same.
