well, "ruin her life" is kind of strong. he was cool in new moon and all, but he's just really immature and manipulative in the third book. one time he kisses her against her will (this part was seriously disturbing to me...like rape distrurbing) and the second time he essentially threatens to kill himself if she doesn't kiss him.
