Looks pretty nice. But I just bought something called stringstop - It's freaking amazing locking tuners! It's something that you just put on your standard machine heads. Maybe you know it, but I think it's kinda new. Anyway it works really great...

I have these babies on my Strat and they rock. They are just as good as the Sperzel style. I have a vintage tremolo, LSR Roller Nut and these Staggard EZ Lock tuners, rock solid tunning with dives, bends you name it. I don't have strings trees since they're stagard.

would i be able to use these with a trem (6 hole style) and it wouldn't go out of tune if i did some severe dive bombing?

are they any good?

For Van Halen style trem use, you'd probably want to go with a locking nut. I think these would hold up to some decent dives though. Reverend used to offer a Wilkinson trem with some models, so the tuners must have been good enough for that.

I think they work pretty well. They may not be THE BEST in the WHOLE WORLD, but that's all opinion anyway. They stay in tune well enough that it's not a worry.
