Thanks for the reply. Do you mind telling me what cartridge / stylus combination you are using? I'm thinking of upgrading from the basic set up that came with the P1.

Sounds very nice. NAD really makes good gear for the cash. I have a NAD C272 power amp driving my TDL 0.75M speakers.

Well, I guess that my set up would be the same as yours. The cartridge is Goldring Electra with its original D152E stylus.

What's not to like? Beautiful song from the 30s by Cai Qin and superb playback from a well made turntable. Looks remarkably like my Rega P1 with a glass platter.

In fact, the NAD 533 is made by Rega for NAD.
