  • ur FKEN IDIOT, U GOT A DUD! STOP POSTING EVERYWHERE, u got a FAKE!!!!!

  • 40 mins? Are you sure that you purchased this machine? :) My battery lasts about 6:30 hours...

  • I purchased this with 160 Gb HD and 2 GB memory and optical drive. The screen is atrocious - very narrow viewing angles and lots of light leakage around the edges so the image is faded. Cannot watch a video on it - especially in dark conditions because of the uneven lighting. The keyboard is the nosiest I have ever heard and bends with each key stroke with a very poor feed back. It takes 5 mins to boot up and will not properly shut down and the battery lasts about 40 mins and gets hot. AVOID

  • "Do you want to play catch?" =D

  • UtterLemon,

look at the other reviews, and the toshiba website

!!!ITS A FUCKING DVD BURNER!!!SUPERMULTI TOO!!!

  • For god's sake!!! It's pronounced PORTEHJAY not protege... Idiot.

Also, the drive on this laptop is NOT a burner - it only reads DVDs.

The MacBook Air is also a hell of a lot more powerful than this - this has the UL7100 processor, which is very weak - whereas the MBA has a shrunk down version of a full power laptop processor - making the FSB (look it up) a lot higher, and having a lot higher clock speed.

Anyway, the Lenovo X300 is the best ultraportable anyway...
