Kokiri Sword on Adult Link

1. complete game up to at least the forest temple
2. go back in time
3. plant bean at lake hylia
4. steal the rod + get bottle on B (as a kid)
5. put zora mask on C-right.
6. catch a fish with B bottle
7. at this point you will lose all shields except for the deku shield, and you will lose all swords except for kokiri sword. your third sword slot, however, will have the value of "broken" even though you don't have a sword in that item slot. there will be a graphic of the broken giant's knife but no way to select it. at this point you should re-equip your kokiri sword to B by selecting it in the menu (even though it should already look selected). this will remove the bottled fish from B.
8. go forwards in time (you regain master sword)
9. go buy new hylian shield
10. use bean to get to fishing hole
11. steal the rod + get bottle on B (adult)
12. go back in time
13. make sure zora mask is on C-right
14. go forwards in time.

this puts kokiri sword on B.

the kokiri sword is 100% functional despite link holding the master sword. note how small the spin attacks are, and how when i charge the spin attack it only covers half the sword.

EXPLANATION:
when using zora mask BA, your swords/shields are worth this much:

kokiri sword: 1
master sword: 2
biggoron sword: 4
giant's knife: 4
"broken": 8
broken giant's knife: 12 (giant's knife+"broken" added together)
deku shield: 16
hylian shield: 32
mirror shield: 64

the reason there's so many steps is because the kokiri sword is item #59.

to get to 59, you add 1 + 2 + 8 + 16 + 32.

16 and 32 are your deku/hylian shields. that's easy. now you're at 48. add the kokiri sword. you're at 49. ten more. add master sword. you're at 51.

now you need 8 more, which is "broken" without having the giant's knife. you cannot get this normally, but with Reverse Bottle Adventure it's possible.

when you catch the fish in your B bottle with zora mask on c-right, the game takes the value of the fish (item #25) and puts that value onto your swords and shields. what's 25? 16+8+1. which means you get the deku shield, the "broken" item, and the kokiri sword. now to get to 59 all you need is the master sword (go forwards in time) and the hylian shield (easily rebuyable).

just a pointless trick but it was fun to figure out. :)
