Hi, just looked at the following comments. Ive got to say I agree with Angus1878 on this one. It just seems like bands are running out of ideas and have to rip off other peoples songs. Lily Allen is the latest thief.(listen to it and judge for yourself!) As for some of the comments some people have posted, it sounds like they don't know your Arse from their Elbow.

Wow, heard this song for the first time today (how had I missed it??) and it's so good! I really love the string parts, so well written :) I'm a violinist and I'm sitting here itching to play it :P
and on the whole hey jude thing - think about the chord sequence of pachelbel-s canon, I'm sure most people know it. The are more songs based on that sequence than I can count on my fingers just within the pop genre. Very little in music is completely new ;)

You don't win a Mercury Prize ripping off other bands songs. Buy the album its a bloody classic. Do you not realise how respected this band is by other musicians ?

I made an earlier comment to the Hey Jude ending but it was a throwaway comment not criticism. Who owns the chords F, Eb and Bb? No-one. Same chords in memory of a free festival Bowie 1967. This is a great song. Anyone might as well say all blues songs are the same because they use 1, 4 and 5 chords.
