Can we really know anything for certain? If so, then how? Stuart McAllister tackles what we mean by truth and how we go about evaluating truth claims in this short video from "Truth and Reality," the second in the series of twelve "Foundations of Apologetics" DVD curriculum. • This is great Stuart.

May we please have more clips from Ravi? Thank you.

  • Christianity is more about relationship then religion. We know God because we form a proper relationship with our Heavenly Father who knew us before the world was new.

Atheists don't understand this love relationship or dogmatically hide behind non-belief. A love relationship with God would be anathema to anyone who rejects God.

Our default position is to both seek God and be naturally set against God.

We must chose the Master we have a relationship with.

    7. honesty; integrity; truthfulness.

    8. (often initial capital letter) ideal or fundamental reality apart from and transcending perceived experience: the basic truths of life.

so you see, this is what humanity defines (as per dictionary versions) is what truth actually is. "Truth" is a concept CO-EXISTING with "fact". Often times you must prove/disprove "facts" to clarify the "truth"...many small facts go towards proving/disproving "truth".

  • Fact/Truth coexist...one does not trump the other.

    1. the true or actual state of a matter: He tried to find out the truth.

    2. conformity with fact or reality; verity: the truth of a statement.

    3. a verified or indisputable fact, proposition, principle, or the like: mathematical truths.

    4. the state or character of being true.

    5. actuality or actual existence.

    6. an obvious or accepted fact; truism; platitude.

Yes, truth is substantial, but, alas, Fact triumphs over this.

  • and you're saying that because....?

  • If you die in your sins where God is you cannot go
