  • @ReliableInsider the republicans did not have the ability to filibuster until the republicans won ted kennedy's seat. a republican winning in Mass. that is unbelievable.

  • @mizzoulibertarian

What happened in the last election, according to exit polls, is that Democrats didn't vote because they are frustrated with the slow pace of progress toward a better economy.

Who is responsible for the slow pace? The Filibuster Party!

While Barack Obama was fighting against economic collapse and terrorism, the Republicans were fighting against Barack Obama.

At a certain point, that becomes unpatriotic.

  • @ReliableInsider worked in the last election

  • bennett voted for the iraq war and the bailout. this is true democracy

  • the cnn reporter needs to be taught the meaning of the word respect,

    in the greek way.

  • LOL wasn't Bennett supposed to be one of the more conservative ones?

Looks like the Tea Party isn't satisfied until have rabid ignorant backwoods anti government nuts filling the offices in Washington. What a great day that will be!

  • If the Republican Party hates moderate Republicans and hates centrists and, in fact, hates anyone who is not a radical, then how does the Republican Party expect to function in a moderate nation like the United States?

Voters are tired of the partisan bickering. We want the country to start functioning again.

  • The Party that took over in 2001 delivered terrorism, war, higher spending, bigger government, spying on citizens, and a Great Recession.

That's not what registered Republicans want! And that's not what Republican candidates promised. They promised exactly the opposite.

I think it's time to scrap the Republican Party and start over.

    It can't be saved.

A third party??? We need a SECOND party!

  • The Republicans took over the House in 1994. The Republicans were all-powerful from 2001-2007 when terrible things happened.

Whatever agenda elected Republicans have was implemented in the 2001-2007 period and Republican voters feel completely betrayed. Party leaders and actual registered Republican voters seem to have a completely different agenda.

  • the republicans are caving to the teabaggers, but there just aren't all that many teabaggers, and their strategy is shooting themselves in the foot...
