Isn't that amazing? Got injected with Technecium 99-m recently for a thyroid uptake test and went to work at a fire station, thus setting off the radiation detector at morning checkoff, then causing a review of SOP's and contacting Hazmat and the city health department to consider if I should even be at work. I caused a reading on the dosimeters as well. Went through Indium-111 injection earlier, but I was still on extended sick leave at the time so no one questioned a visit to see my crew.

I'm one of those nuke-a-phobes who would rather be fondled, any day of the week, except they need to change SOPs to use DUDETTES instead.
That would freak me out... but it's 'perfectly safe', yeah, I believe that...
