Testing out the Veho Muvi micro camera while doing my last ride on that cursed scooter, driving around on Tiller in Trondheim, Norway in Autumn 2009.

The camera is pretty good (when taking the price into consideration), it can also be used as a webcam, but the sound quality is crap.
If you buy this camera you might want to get the package that includes lots of different mounts, will probably save you lots of trouble trying to attach it to your helmet/bike/whatever

  • Virtually all 50cc scooters in Norway has a speed limiter at 45-50 km/h, so that it can be driven with a driving license that requires very little (or no) training.

I would get another camera, If mounted to your scooter it could get a lot of vibration that could possible damage it. The big lens could also get scratched by rocks or insects if not protected.

I got a smaller camera that I'm going to use while driving this spring, a kodak zi8. Pretty small so should be easy to place

  • @razvianus Yes it's a 50cc scooter, which in norway means it's made to prevent going faster than 50 km/h.

The noise is not for nothing, it serves to annoy both the driver and passers by.

Is it a video camera or a small compact digital camera (with video capability)? Myaybe it has a standard hole for those camera mounting screws (like used in tripods), if so you could easily make a mount to attach to the scooter.

Helmet is a bit harder, depending on the size and shape of the camera

  • Its just this video? or you were really going slow?

    because...you know...all that noise...is for nothing?

My crappy Buxy makes a lot of noise too but its working very well...and im a BIG guy...

Id like to make some movies with me riding my scooter but i still dont know how to attach a camera [not very tiny] to my helmet or my scooter...

    Anyway nice video... + city.
