Coquitlam Alternate Basic Education - or CABE for short - is a local school where kids can go if they are struggling to succeed in the regular public schools. CABE was designed to help kids with disabilites and difficult personal lives get a decent education. But now smart kids are going there too, and this week, we meet one who could easily succeed in a regular school but instead chooses to go CABE. Is this kid smarter than we give him credit for, or is he taking advantage of the system?
*get the credits and go

I attended this school for a bit, thinking it would be a better choice because of my lack of motivation and high absence reputation, but after a few days of going there I didn't like it at all. The staff and slow pace atmosphere was nice, but it seemed as if the idea was for kids to just get by. Get the credits in go. One of the teachers assumed I was just another pot head. I didn't appreciate it at all, I knew I could do better. So I switched to Riverside. :)
