RIP Buffy

My girlfriend and I got Buffy from the pet store in early 2010. She was an adult when we got her. She was always so happy, and we nicknamed her "pocket mouse" because she just loved to sit in your hand or in your pocket, and was always up for cuddles.
About a week ago she started getting sick. I had been hand feeding her and giving her water with antibiotics in it for several days, even getting up during the night to do so, but about 3 days ago she started rejecting it and refused to eat or drink.
She could barely walk, and wasn't breathing well, so we did the only thing we could and had her put to sleep to ease her suffering.
Mice only live for about 2 years, but it was still heartbreaking. We will always love you, our little Buffster.
