In this video I am talking about/reviewing my new camera which is a Logitech HD Webcam C270. You can see the quality for yourself (as I'm obviously using it to film the video!)

I would really recommend this camera if you are looking for a good quality webcam but you don't want to spend much money. It's really simple to use, works well in low lighting conditions (unlike most low-cost webcams) and you can edit the videos in Windows Movie Maker (sorry mac users!).

I bought mine from Amazon and it's currently around £18 on the UK site. The link's here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-960-000582-C270-HD-Webcam/dp/B003R1O320/ref=...

Thanks for watching, I hope this was helpful if you're on the look out for a camera to use for your videos!

  • Is there a way to turn off auto-contrast or whatever is making the image look like it's flashing? Otherwise, it's a very crisp image, even if a little bluish (which can be corrected later).

  • @joemaffei To be honest..I haven't a clue if you can turn off auto-contrast, sorry I couldn't be more helpful here!

  • Hey will you please let me know how the mic works on it? im thinking of buying it, also not much motion blur when your eyes kept moving all over the joint

  • @JamesyMcgee Hiya. The mic on it is very good quality, it's what I used to record the audio for this video. Simple to use, the webcam just uses the inbuilt mic when it records video. Nope no motion blur. I would still recommend this camera definitely. Sometimes my lighting messes with the quality slightly and makes me look blue-ish, but it's still far superior to other same-priced cameras. Hope that's helpful!

  • @HeartsAndSquiggles wow it's £14 i' going to get it but where can i stand it ? does it clip on to a laptop or computer ? ha

  • @NotoriousTezzer Yep it clips onto the screen of your laptop or I guess the screen of your computer as long as you have a flat sreeen :)

  • You're so pretty!! Like a woman character from a classic Disney movie!

  • @elvisload The video was intended for my subscribers, to whom the first 3 minutes were relevant, and was also about video quality in general and whether it's important to have good quality videos. Unfortunately there is no screening for good quality comments.

  • Thanks. This was really helpful. I knew about this camera but I had no idea you could get this level of video and sound quality from the 270.

  • smooth video

  • @HeartsAndSquiggles The manual says there is a software setting called RightLight to "correct for poor lighting environments". You should try turning it off.

  • thanks for the video but next time please make it short and dont tapk so much
