We went to Bekonscot model village, in Beaconsfeild UK and I took my camera along. I intend to go back again and take the rest of my camera gear to make a neater video, but this will do for now.

  • This looks as if it was shot on Super 8. If so what film stock and camera. Just an awesome short film. Thanks for sharing.

  • @BurningtunaDC It was shot on a Sony Z1 - This looks far too clean for Super8, maybe it could pass as super16 or something.... I might habe used a soft focus filter, can't remember now. If I did, it would have been a tiffen softFX3....

  • Cool, what scale is it?

  • @gamera63 Its O guage

  • Ah, I see. Thanks. I have only HO :(

  • @gamera63 Well unless you have loads of space for an O guage layout, HO is better.

  • 45mm gauge or Gauge 1. Same gauge as LGB but the scale is 1/32. The village is 1/12 scale.

  • this isnt O, it is GAuge 1, known as G scale in America, O is about half the size, i kno, i own both

  • its like thomas and friends

  • I know, and my place is a snowy place, so anyway outdoor layout is a kind of mission impossible :(
