This is the best picturised song ever. Nobody can Maniratnam in this aspect.
The same movie was remade in hindi as "Saathiya" and they picturised this song almost in the same way.But have a look at and it is not even 5% as good as this one.
You cannot imitate the genius of Maniratnam.

The original movie was Tamil, it was called "Alaipayuthey". This is the Telugu translation of that movie, the telugu one was called "Sakhi". You can tell the difference, the title of this video is "Sakhi", implying it was from the Telugu translation, and not the Tamil original.

Actually, this is the telugu dub.
