The Democrats have run New York for as long as I have been alive and living here. NY is very liberal, mainly because of NYC. Most of the fiscal problems we have here today are the results of locally elected "uber-liberal" Democrats.

man... Grayson and Weiner... I would vote Obama next time because it is the better choice available, but if ever Grayson or Weiner want to be a candidate for president, I would pick either of the 2 over Obama.

I hear ya, but I'm sure someone said the same thing about Obama at one point. Unfortunately it is easier to speak this way representing about 20,000 or so people, but when you become the representative of 300 mil, then it is much harder to have a hard stance on anything. Politics is simply not the place for honesty and representation of your voters. Instead it has become a game of lies and deciet where your constituents consist of rich corporations. But I'd love to see Weiner give it a try.
