This is a tribute to the wonderful reunion we had at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska with the friends and families of YUKLA27's crew that was lost in a plane crash Sept 22, 1995 due to geese ingested in the engines. This video shows that life goes on, LOVE conquors all. Most of the family members traveled thousands of miles from the Lower 48. Many of the families attended out of duty, anxious about again facing the painful memories that would accompany the sites to be revisited : AWACS hanger, crash site, Base chapel, the memorial. But as this video shows, God and His crew of 24 had a special blessing waiting for them in the beauty of Alaska: friendship, laughter....healing.

Beautiful tribute. I live in Virginia now but was on the crash recovery team in 95 the day that Yukla 27 went down. Chuck Sweet was also a personal friend. This will be a day that forever changed my life and one that I will never forget. Thank you for putting this together.
