@tubermind I agree with 100% of what you wrote! It's sad that Amy wasn't able to somehow break through the confusion and heal herself. Proper nutrition, exercise, positive and encouraging people around her: all these things could have helped to save her. Everyone's journey to self-enlightenment is different. It's part smarts, wisdom, self-awareness, honesty, courage and plain old luck that can help to heal. Not everyone is played the same hand, and some never learn how to play.

@angelzap100 Yes, addicts self-medicate. I know someone who was diagnosed bipolar and was CURED with top nutrition; the heavy psychiatric drugs were stopped. He has no more symptoms; moods are very stable. The seat of the emotions is in the brain, and the brain has high nutritional needs. Plenty of proteins, fresh fruits and veggies = healthy emotions. Drug therapy doesn't cure; but labels people permanently. Chemicals and alcohol lead to deep depression. I refuse to label Amy.
