@nothingbuttails that's cool how you like both.Honestly, I have tried rap and hh, but I was bullied a lot in school and made an outcast. The rap and hip hop just wasn't doing it for me. I turned back to metal, found Disturbed and Five Finger Death Punch, which pulled me out of my rapidly growing depression and helped me realize, the world is not fair, If you wan't to survive you can't take shit from anyone. I don't like rap because I don't feel anything, there is no connection, understand?

But in my opinion, I think that the African American music community decended back into their roots, durring the harlem reinassance. Saw avideo on it in school. Shit!
