  • @UNIXSOLJA Asus and Gigabyte both rock. Gigabyte is more supported if you plan on doing a Hackintosh, though. ;) I use both in my system builds, have for years.

  • A -seuss? That sounds ridiculous. The name would sound WAY more powerful if you pronounced it A-SUS/ASIS.

  • And with a Northeastern American accent, it comes out as "A-SISS". That seems to be the consensus here.

  • @EmbracingMyInsanity And yes i build custom unix based firewalls.

  • @EmbracingMyInsanity Love skyrim

  • @EmbracingMyInsanity I must dmit I am considering gigabyte in my next build outta pure cost. Heard good stuff about them and msi and that they have fixed there bad caps issue.

However for clients nothing but asus.

  • @UNIXSOLJA Just noticed Unix in your username...you get a like for that lol and I also only put Asus mobos in my Machines.

  • @UNIXSOLJA They have their purpose. If you need something for class(taking notes, playing Skyrim during a lecture. . .whatever) A laptop is the way to go. If you just need a desktop buy/build a custom desktop PC. Their lifespan is a lot longer and hey are easier to repair if a part bricks.

  • @vLeggy *shrugs* Why do most Americans(save myself and a handful of other people I've heard) Pronounce Herb as "erb" When People from the U.K.(and probably more) Where the language most Americans speak originates from pronounce Herb "Herb"? To Quote on of my favorite comedians Eddie Izzard "Because there's a FUCKING "H" IN IT"

  • She can pronounce it how ever she wants. I say uh-seuss.
