@UNIXSOLJA Asus and Gigabyte both rock. Gigabyte is more supported if you plan on doing a Hackintosh, though. ;) I use both in my system builds, have for years.

@UNIXSOLJA They have their purpose. If you need something for class(taking notes, playing Skyrim during a lecture. . .whatever) A laptop is the way to go. If you just need a desktop buy/build a custom desktop PC. Their lifespan is a lot longer and hey are easier to repair if a part bricks.
