Like Tetris and Puyo Puyo, Bust-A-Move (Puzzle Bobble in Japan) is another addictive puzzle game released on multiple platforms. The SNES game pretty much inspired its sequels for including power-ups, many stages and the Vs. CPU mode.
As the game was self-published and released by Taito in 1995, the company also closed their US offices on that year. The European version, Puzzle Bobble: Bust-A-Move used both US and Japanese names.
