The purpose of a bike box is not to "help" experienced bikers. And if an inexperienced biker does not know how to use one, that does not warrant not having one. Especially here in Fort Collins, the need for the bike box is the 10-30 bikers that go forward through an intersection when there is no right turn lane for cars. The bike box improves safety. I question the logic behind this video. Please explain further.
