Worlds Apart Trailer

Completed in early summer 2011, Worlds Apart was created by a talented and motivated trained group of Cogswell students. The latest software, pipelines, and studio techniques were utilized in the creation of this animation tour de force. Worlds Apart is a unique short film with production value that is unseen at the undergraduate level.

Story
Worlds Apart is the story of a young family in central California whom are trying to make it as avocado farmers. The story that unfolds around them is what is central to humanities current condition. They are faced with global pollution, overcrowding, and a lack of resources. Their story is set against the back drop of a visitation from another planet. This sci-fi thriller, short animation is an allegory for possible trends in our near and future times. Anyone who can appreciate beautifully crafted 3D animation or is interested in the human spirit can enjoy this finely crafted story.
