exscuse me, what song you use in video?
-
It me cool to see someone make an alcohol stove out of a sterno can
-
I only clicked on this video because of the flame in the thumbnail but the music is relaxing :) Whats it called? @TerraFirma369

I understand the eventual leak issue.. which is the major selling point (for me) of the Trangia-- as well as build quality. But, I see your version here is genius, and the leak issue is one more ingenious thought away.. I will be working on this. Great Vid!

that is a nifty invention.

hey whats the name of the music

Nice job!

i was thinking of making my own trangia when i saw this can the other day, but i still hadn't come up with a good idea for the inner wall. Would you be willing to demonstrate how you made it in a video?
The lid doesn't seal the alcohol in...am I right???

It did at first, as I used silicone sealant in the lid, but that eventually gave out. It still burns very nicely, but sealing in the alcohol is something that is problematic at best over time. Thanks for the comment! Peace.

what's underneath the stove ..is it tent safe ?
gasdorf 2 years ago
That's a ceramic tile. I wouldn't say that any of the jetted alcohol stoves are "tent safe", but that's just my opinion. Thanks for the great question! Peace.

do you have instructions for this stove

Besides the stated specs, it is really just a matter of making it by hand out of a RockStar-Style twist top soda can. Most of the energy drinks have a version of this can. Good luck! Peace.
