Remember this song from Marine infantry training at Camp Lejuene,NC in Oct. 1968, by Dec. we were all in Vietnam.

I remember going to the beach with my older brother who was home on leave before heading out to vietnam, it was him, his girlfriend, my cousin and her husband plus me and another brother whom were sittiing in the back of the 57 Chevy Nomad listening to this version of this song playing over and over again on the AM stations of the car radio. For some reason that memory of that day has always stuck with me, and I was only 6 years old.

@TheAllthree Sorry I can't help but I have to say "you know what your hearing here!" Out of all the available versions on the tube, this one recording rings truest in my memories from when Jose first released it. This was the most available recording of the times. The Doors” are Classic! But Jose took the song out of thier category with his version and put it in another soulful and romantic silhouette.
Total uniqueness; Here’s to Feliciano!.

@TheAllthree - I don't really know where you might find a copy. I believe my copy came from a thrift store like the Goodwill or Salvation Army. Good luck finding one!
