And man, video game commericals were shit back then. They actually talked about the gameplay and hyped it up when it was really just a 16-bit screen with pixels. Now they're basically movie trailers with CGI everywhere.

Try turning on FOX on a Sat morning now. You'll get the news, some educational shit no one watches, a cartoon about sharing or a baseball game. FOX Kids was every kid's life back in 1993.

Doesn't the voices of the dragon and the vulture (I think it spoke in a deadpan voice) in the McDonalds commercial sound familiar to anyone. The dragon reappears in another commercial when her older brother (who isn't as big as Ronald though he'd be) wanted to move in with Ronald and his friends.

They sure were. Tale Spin had actaully stopped airing by this time and I can remember getting SMK for my 10th birthday December 27,1992.
