We should feel proud of the fact that India is the originator of much of the today's knowledge pool and innovation. But most of us, unfortunately just take pride in that fact and convince themselves that India is great. I am sorry to say this but, India WAS great. It no longer IS. But I am also happy to say that it has the most potential, amongst any of the world's present countries to BECOME the greatest and we should all work towards achieving that, instead of remaining happy with mediocrity.

I hope it would appeal you in apositive way..He was a true diplomat in real sense...He knew abt the nerve of this country ...That man has travelled all though out the nation to get its pulse..We would never overcome British by force ...it was his way which gained us international sympathy and even by English nationals which made such an huge impact...apart frm that everyone has some demerits ...after all he was a human...

That is why we are the Largest Democracy and Our economy is growing at an rapid rate!

India should have spent the money they wasted on commonwealth games on an International Media net work of Aljazeera or CCCTV ( China CentralTelevision ) style.
I have seen Brazilians watching CCCTV , the whole planet watches Aljazeera they have become players just like BBC. They all put their own spin. You guys are too stingy. But waste money on ventures to glorify the quueen like commonwealth games. . I am not Indian only an Indophile. Don't get angry.

@Tejvideo, It is your ancestors who helped conquer India . Only 600 British soldiers were there at the time of total conquest. You already had divisions they only enhanced and managed those- they still do. BBC is a spin mill who spins things in subtleways. Look China has CCTV they put their own spin to stories, That Sheik of Dubai also formed Aljazeera , that way putting Arab spin.

U know what. WE Indians rock. Look at the economical crisis of American & European countries nd the mess they r in We are still developing and taking baby steps but WE are proving to be strong competitor for the Developed Nations
