i do fencing several times a week and i usually end up wearing shorts. foils really dont hurt if they hit you there- thats what the jacket ( white top) is for....That guys probably exagerating or it was the perfect hit

okay.. well it was their first time playing fencing cause they were in a summer camp and they were trying.. i know it's stupid and sad but for the people that were watching them playing and know them was funny.. =P

Novices, a 3 year old would know you should not wear shorts in fencing,also your pain tolerance must be really low, I've been hit harder and I didn't topple to the ground...
