GMC HOSPITAL, AJMAN ESTABLISHES TELE-MEDICINE DEPARTMENT

GMC Hospital was honored with the presence of H. E. Sheikh Dr. Majid Bin Saeed Al Nuaimi, Chairman Rulers Court - Ajman, UAE, in the opening ceremony of the New TELE-MEDICINE DEPARTMENT at GMC Hospital, Ajman on 5th May 2010 along with Thumbay Group President Mr. Thumbay Moideen and the Director, Mr. Akbar Moideen Thumbay and other officials of the Hospital.



The New Telemedicine Department will be utilized as the primary centre to serve and connected to the newly opened GMC Hospital in Malawi and GMC Hospital Fujairah through TELE-MEDICINE.

H. E. Sheikh Dr. Majid Bin Saeed Al Nuaimi was introduced to GMC Malawi and Fujairah through a video conferencing during the inauguration of the department.

The Hospital hoped the telemedicine link established at Ajman would be used optimally to provide accurate and timely diagnosis and better healthcare to patients. The remote locations will have full support from Ajman.
