Net Neutrality is the biggest issue since Freedom of Religion, which until last week I thought we had worked out. AlFranken.

  • @saper321 Are you a troll or just stupid? The Google-Verizon (which you can read for yourself anywhere you get your news) legislative frame work submitted to the congress is what contains language that would do away with Net-neutrality.

    Net-neutrality = Keeping the internet AS-IS.

You probably become Anti-Oxygen if you heard liberals liked breathing.

  • It's difficult to think of a Senator who has more class and intelligence than Mr. Franken. We now know why Republicans fought so hard to keep him out of office. They knew that once Franken got in the Senate, he'd become a very powerful voice for liberal and progressive causes. He may end up taking the place of Ted Kennedy. He's that good.

  • Yeah lets get government in a position of the one industry that has thrived because government hasn't been involved. Fuck you Fraken, give it 2 years & the internet connection will be far more expensive & far fewer jobs in the industry.

  • @phantomf4j What on Earth does this have to do with this topic--or are you just a Koch puppet regurgitating?

  • @phantomf4j As much as you are correct, the "rich" could easily succeed in taking our self-declared rights. The internet is part of our society, there is no denying it. It has become part of speech, religion, and press. So shouldn't it be free from discrimination? and accessible? I don't want the government regulating the internet, but i certainly don't mind them telling companies that they can't decide what gets through their tubes and on my screen.

  • @NikoKun Could you send me a message which explains this video: watch?v=DdFctQxehW0 I'm trying to fully understand what exactly this Internet preservation Act by Cliff Stearns means and I don't quite get it with all these twisted words I am finding everywhere. I would really really appreciate it if you could, thanks.

  • Al Franken speaks sensibly and coherently upon an important topic for a good long while! As far as I can tell, any arguments against him would have to involve some kind of outright worship of greed.

  • @phantomf4j

Right, so you want corporations deciding which websites you get to view, and how fast they run. You must love fascism, no wonder you're most likely a republican.

  • I am deeply saddened by action at FCC today authorizing corporate control of our internet. Democracy has again been severely compromised!
