Here's a fun commercial for Babycham
I'm not sure if this particular commercial ever aired on TV, but I know for a fact that it was shown in movie theaters. It has an odd Mary Poppins look to it due to the mix of live action and animation. The water scenes are particularly similar.
Babycham:
Babycham is the trade name of a light, sparkling perry wine invented by Francis Showering, a brewer in Shepton Mallet in Somerset, England; the name is now owned by Constellation Europe Limited.
Launched nationally in the United Kingdom in 1953, the drink was marketed with pioneering television advertisements to appeal specifically to women. It was the first alcoholic product to be advertised on UK television, the campaign being launched in 1957, and was originally marketed as "Genuine champagne perry"
So everybody got the Young Ones reference and nobody spotted that Monty Python did a rip on this one, too? For shame...

LOL! While I never saw this particular ad, I remember the Monty Python version of it.
I think this is one of the ads that were shown before a feature film at the movies.

kind of weird that a deer is showing people where his stash of alcohol is.
They leave so suddenly too!
Kinda rude.
Thanks for uploading.
