I just started a med for my hypo. I wasn't worried at all. I have some strange symptoms that must be my thyroid problem-and I am skinny so not all overweight ppl have hypo. You don't always need an endo unless you have nodules or cancer.

You must be a doctor. Only a doctor would be so arrogant as to comment that "You should earn a medical degree". There are lots of extremely intelligent people who are not doctors actually. Imagine that...

Also, why are you so against people trying different treatments to get better? Obviously, you have not spent much time with those who have suffered on the wrong thyroid medicine.

Seriously, what exactly is your beef with docs trying to help thyroid patients feel better?

I have had Hypothyroidism in 5 years now. And it's not in control, mustly because no doctor takes it serious! + I work out everyday and eat healthy, but I still gain weight like crazy.

It's just awful, and I feel like I'm going no where.. :(
