Anti Retro-Viral Drug Efavirenz abuse news piece in South Africa.

A drug intended to treat HIV and AIDS is sweeping the townships of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It is cheap and powerfully addictive.

"It's extremely frustrating," said Dr. Njabulo Masabo, from the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. "It's extremely, you know, discouraging because on one end you're trying to fight this epidemic that has ravaged the world so much ... the results are catastrophic."

South africa has the biggest drug problem in the world this comes as no surprise..what a shame!

There's always going to be some people who will ruin what's good for others. Hopefully this won't discourage the donations people are giving for the RIGHT reasons. It's a shame. But like the report stated, if these people keep abusing the drug they're going to build up an immunity to it, so then if by some way they would come down with the disease, there would be no hope for them. It would just be a never ending cycle of looking for an answer.

I can hardly believe this. It just goes beyond anything I would have possibly guessed. What sleaze ball people. Of all the drugs to abuse. And yet it's typical of people who are prone to drug abuse. They don't give a fuck about other people or the effect their actions have on other people. Let people poison themselves with it if they want.  Just make sure the people who need it for medical reasons can obtain it.
