  • Are you trying to gas your neighbours out?!

    :-) just joking :-)

That sound really makes me long back to my old W110 200D!

I bought a 230S some time ago to get that feeling back, but it's not like my good old diesel...(although that car was worn bad but always brought me home.. if it started in teh cold that is ;-)

  • I just saw one of those cars in the junk yard not too long ago. The body seemed to be in pretty decent shape for a car so old. It was sort of sad to see a nice car like that being left to die after surviving for so long.

  • Im about to purchase a car like this, with ALOT of restoration needed. The engine runs and MOST of the body is in good shape (rust here and there because it came from up north) I know I need to replace the breaks and many other parts. Does anyone know a good place to buy parts so I can restore the old beauty to the beast? Please message me if you do.

  • this is TRULY one CHILDHOOD CLASSIC of mine that I would cherish - gone are those days of smoke-belching Mercedes diesel taxis especially the W110, W109 and even W123 diesel models in Malaysia (however in some small towns, VERY FEW still survive)

  • Good evening,

I am a young architect from Milan, who loves classic cars and especially the Mercedes history. I'm in love now has a 190C-Heckflosse fintail of the early '60s. I am now to crown my dream. Now one of the requests that come to me is to find the stamped frame of the vehicle, if anyone knows where I can find it? Thank you, good evening.

    I apologize for the translation.

  • Thank you, very entertaining video!

  • In Germany those Mercedes called " Farmer Benz, or Farmer Diesel " most of Mercedes Diesel were driven by Farmers, they used their cars often 20-25 jears :-)

  • @honussa

    was it cold?

how do u know it was cold ? he may have already driven it that day.+ they r so understressed and low rpm governed that u could probably do it all day.

  • Very nice old Merc; 190d diesel automatic is rare! I noticed the mixture is very rich though--plenty of black smoke! I really like the heckflosse shaped Mercs, and this one looks in great condition!

  • super carr

welldone my driend and keep this car well...
