The dance itself was really lovely, but I don't think the wind-up doll bit was necessary at all. To carry the concept through a little more it would have been better if they were wearing white or pale pink with huge bows in their hair, etc. (more of a Lolita look) but the fuchsia and neon blue ruffles make them look more like salsa dancers than dolls. I think it would have been a more successful dance in more 'typical' Tribal fusion costume.
