With the Minnesota Vikings planning to host the Chicago Bears on Monday
night at TCF Bank Stadium, hundreds of workers descended on the campus
facility Wednesday, Dec. 15, to begin the process of removing snow from
the field and stands. The Vikings on Tuesday confirmed a 1500ESPN.com
report that engineers had determined the Metrodome's collapsed roof
could not be fixed in time to host the game.
