its not about going for the suit its about keeping his eye on the person who is dangerous. This isnt schutzund its personal protection. What a great dog! Great bite and drive.

You are also not letting the dog 'parade' his reward (in this case the suit) you should let him hold it and trot him round in a little circle, this makes the dog feel he has achieved something and that he has gained a reward so he is more motivated to go for the suit the next time around, but the GSD is beautiful and I'm sure if you talk to other trainers they will guide and help you.

lol good luck with the training, but thats no real protection dog. You have no control over the dog. Any dog will most likely bark at a stranger and followed by a bite. You need better training for your dog. You want to achieve a obedient dog that you can control in different situations. Gluck.

The german shepherd should be trained to go for the arm with the gun or a weapon in real life the dog would of gotten shot if he would of had a bat or a pipe he could wack the dog with it.
