The last concert on Hot Space Tour. So as you can hear Freddie's voice badly needs a little rest ;-) but I kinda like this "special" performance of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and 'Teo Torriatte'.
Unfortunately a major part of the concert is cut, but the available is superb !!

09: Guitar Solo
10: Crazy Little Thing Called Love

  • OMG - that was FANTASTIC, INCREDIBLE, INDESCRIBABLE! not only was the music great, they were having so much fun i actually watched this video with a huge smile on my face! go QUEEN!!!!!!

  • who was that on piano ?? Spike Edney? (during Crazy Little Thing Called loved).

  • 2:00 it's the "Keep yourself Alive" riff???

  • Wow!!!! In the last 4 minutes or so, they were really jammin'!!! That man's piano skills are FANTABULOUS!!!! I love the camaraderie between all of them...especially with Freddie and Roger! This is such a joy to see! I can really feel the energy here!

  • The one and only time I saw Queen was on this tour (I feel lucky to have seen them). I just met Brian May for the first time last night, on his book tour. Wow, what an amazing man...brought back all my great Queen memories seeing him! :-)

  • they lost their glam look

  • Fred Mandel went on to tour and record with Elton John from 1983-1990

  • What's up with the guy with the hand clapping hat that Brian and Freddie hit at 8:20? That was great.

  • 2:00 - 2:20 is DEFINITELY part of Brighton Rock.

  • He gave more contributions to the record, he also "helped" Freddie with his solo record, and a couple of things.

But, I also don´t know why he was replaced by Spike. I like Spike, but in my opinion Fred is better with keyboards.
