  • Love Buck Owens but no. This is one song they should not have covered. It's pretty awful, hah.

  • I grew up near Bakersfield in the early 60's. I saw Buck owens and the Buckaroos do this at their toys for tots show. That explosion you hear at the end of the song is a large firecracker in one of their Beatles wigs. One of them would take off the wig, throw it and it would explode. It was a great show and those were the greatest days in Bakersfield. I have walked the streets of Bakersfield... on my way to Pete Jones music to stare at the Fender Telecasters and the Twin Reverb Amps! And DREAM!
