Moon Hoax Theory Lies: We can see the wires, people!

Demonstrating there is nothing unusual about artifacts seen in Apollo video clip used by Mythbusters in one of their episodes, which have been quickly interpreted by Moon Hoax Conspiracy Theorists as proof and smoking gun of conspiracy, allegedly revealing two wires used by NASA in addition to slow motion technique to fake lunar gravity on Earth...

I have contacted Dwight Steven-Boniecki, TV engineer and author of "LIVE TV From the Moon" who explained the nature of those artifacts.
Large part of Apollo EVA footage available today, has been transfered from original video feed to film via a process called kinescope, which was still widely used in the 1970s.
Therefore, most of the artifacts appearing as vertical lines were film scratches, but there were also other film defects, fibers and dust of different size and shape.
Two things to remember with film damage is that scratches and dust on the negative will appear as white on the postive print. Scratches and dust on the positive print will show up black. If scratches and dust where on both the print and the negative, you will have a mix.
Horizontal artifacts were caused by transmission interference which then caused dropouts for a particular line (or lines) of video information.

Examples of movie mistakes typical for movies from the time of Apollo program, and sometimes even occuring in high budget modern film productions, further question the logic of Conspiracy Theorists.

Similar artifacts which look like vertical, horizontal or diagonal lines can be found in many publically available videos originating from the 50s/60s/70s era.

Moon Hoax Believers are kindly requested to do some research before continuing their fanatical support for idiocy they give faith to.

Simply searching for and watching old footage available online or on DVDs carefully is enough to find examples of artifacts similar to what we see in video clip used by Mythbusters.

Note: what I show at 12:32 is not a lens flare. It was a blurred image of registration plate from original video.
I called it "lens flare" as a joke :-) to illustrate how easily Conspiracy Theorists jump to their conclusions.

The fundamental question is what method of capturing these images was used. A TV engineer of this era will explain quite clearly how light affect the image both vertically and horizontally. Even today's range of video cameras use varying technology resulting in certain artefacts.
