  • The AK fire control group required a lot of welding, grinding, and filing to make it work, and not a whole lot of the original metal is left. If you'd like to see other builds as well as the parts I used, sign up at the link in the description.

  • The main advice I can give is to be 100% sure you're legal and you make sure it isn't "readily convertable" in the ATF's view. I have the lower riveted to the upper and a blocking bar prevents a FA bolt from being installed. I used a HEAVILY modified AK-47 fire control group on my build w/ the original PPS-43 trigger.

  • I did build this one myself. The jam in the other video was probably due to the ammo because it's fired fine since. I used the same string method for my Yugo M70 build test fire to be safe. As for tips, I'd say fire several rounds from the stand before holding it & firing just to be safe. Also, make sure you have a good buffer because the original leather one will get beaten up quick. Hope she runs well for ya.

  • how hard was the ak-47 fire control group to do on your gun,? i see you capitilized HEAVILY I have another pps-43 build i'm doing with a complete 16.5 inch rifled barrel would love to keep the original pps-43 trigger instead of the remington 870 Trigger group. what's the degree of dificulty on ak-47 TG 1 being easiest 10 being hardest?

  • @pvcarsenal623 yea no problems there as far as legal problems, I used all 922r compliant u.s. made parts in my build, bolt conversion etc.. glad to see it work well for ya, the only thing i did different for the most part was i like and wanted to keep the folding stock so i permanantly welded an extension barrel onto the 10.5 inch barrel to make it right at16.5 inches, i did not want to giveup folding stock not even an option for me,

  • did you builtd this yourself? i see you had a jam, ftf were you able to determine the cause /fix the problem ejection port problems? let me know i built one have yet to fire it , waiting to get out to friends property may try the string method like you did any conclusions you made on yours may help me and others stay safe
