Surfing big swell swell at 1 mile Beach

this is a short clip filmed on my phone of me going down the face of one of the waves and getting owned at the end!

to get the real scale of the wave stop it when im at the bottom of the wave (11sec) and look at me to the size of the wave (im 5,11ft) so yerr enjoy ;)

5-6 footers rolling in at one mile yesterday ... when the north easter picked up started getting some nice barrels too ... one mile really shines on a good day ... sucks the rest of the year though

Mate, wave measurement is stupid, but that's not a 7ft wave... if you got a wave that was overhead and a half it would be 4ft in accepted surfing terms... so just stick to head-high, waist-high etc. to avoid confusion
