  • I did this year... you sound really good!

  • Im also in 8th grade playing this...its so fun! I really like this piece. You do a great job preforming it.

  • im playing this and im in eigth grade so.. hard!

  • by Leroy Ostranksy! The coolest solo I've ever played! =D

  • maybe just a little bit honky but still real good job of doing this peice, i know this piece isn't easy

  • omg this is so lovly and i play b falt clarinet :]

  • This is a great performance, good job.

As for the soprano-bass question, its usually better to start on soprano, unless if you already have experiance playing tenor or bari sax, in which case the embouchure is very similiar.

  • i started on soprano too and then switched to bass clarinet. but i dont think its necessarily easier for everyone. i switched early cause i had trouble covering the holes on soprano clarinets and i squeaked cause i used to much air. so they switched me in 6th grade to bass. lol

  • I had a lot better time going from tenor sax to Bb bass clarinet, but that's probably because of finger spacing issues.. I don't think small instruments like the soprano clarinet are for me :)

  • well im not so sure. for me it was Bb clarinet than Bass.
