Baseball's controversial home run king, Barry Bonds, is trending as his perjury trial related to steroid allegations gets under way in San Francisco. In 2003, Bonds testified that he believed the substances supplied by his trainer and friend, Greg Andersen, were a mixture of flax-seed oil and arthritic cream. In fact, the government says tests show that those substances were banned steroids known as "the cream" and "the clear." The former San Francisco Giants outfielder and seven-time MVP has denied on multiple occasions that he ever used steroids. Andersen has refused to cooperate with the investigation or testify. If Bonds is found guilty, he could face up to 30 months in prison.

  • glad they are going after a god damn baseball player instead of the gangsters running the banking/financial industry. Because baseball is important!

  • This witch hunt makes no sense. Are we seriously spending tax payer money on one of hundreds of guilty baseball players? We have real criminals and people dying in earthquakes everywhere, but our federal government chooses to focus on this?

  • GOD WHO IS PAYING FOR THIS?? doesnt our country have more important things to spend money on?

  • @helltrackrider wtf? what the hell does America have to do with his choice to take anabolic steroids? He was found guilty btw.

  • LOL GREG ANDERSON IS THE GREATEST BFF OF ALL TIME! HANDS DOWN!

  • Barry...take your millions - buy gold out of this Country; set up residency in another Country - redeem your Gold in the local currency...fly a flag in your front yard that says "FUCK AMERICA"

  • Bonds is a garbage of a human being and an athlectic and Amreican sports sewage,, and usa i s spending tons of money for this ridiculous lawsuit of all eventual losers,,, so for what exactly is it? what kind of justice?\

  • I agree, baseball sucks and should be discontinued

  • i have no respect for the sport of baseball and its players. a game is nothing more than lazy, -oddly fat-assed, drugged up cheaters exerting little physical effort.

funny, how such a passive sport has the most liars turning to drugs instead of actually legitimately improving themselves.

" oooh i need to hit a ball hard and run fas but working out too hard so ill just take steroids."

im not a sports fan to begin with but baseball? fuck baseball so hard its stinking corpse is unrecognizable.

  • @andreadakis24 Looks like someone has a bullshit fabricated job, huh? Gotta follow protocol.

They seem to keep the most useful minds occupied with useless task. I mean, I'm obviously useless, spending my time writing opinion on YouTube, but these prosecutors have put in some heavy study time, perhaps they lose themselves in the process.

  • Relief at last! I'll be able to sleep like a baby once they lock Bonds up. Oh, what a wretched crime, taking a drug so you can hit a ball further, what a world! what a world! Mean while, the government that convicted him of this long ball atrocity, is engaged in four lovely wars, not to mention the ones they don't mention. But, of course, for the benifit of the American people. That benefit being: heavily taxed fuel, and a work week and financial debt that ensures your everlasting need of it.
