  • How much money did you give her parents as a "gift money" to marry her? I know Thai culture expects the husband to give her parents a "money gift". Most Thai ladies you are marrying ask you to give thier parents a "money gift", an amount of 1 million BAHT (or more) or 30,000.00 USD

  • I won't be able to tell you how much for privacy reasons.

The amount of money depends mostly on how rich her family is and 1 Million bath is really a lot.

  • grazie!

  • actually I used different music but it was removed due to copyright issues..happy to hear you like this one too :)

  • looks like it was an amazing day. You both look very happy. she is gorgeous. congrats.

  • thai lady's,the most beautiful lady's on earth

  • @bifftastic1 the sin sot should be from 5000,00 USD and up depending on how well off you are... 30,000,00 is way too much to pay ...unless your rich.... you have to pay for the wedding as well all flights and honeymoon...

    30,000,00!!!! whaaaaaaaaaaaat

  • @thecutefacedweasel 1million Baht???? I think you're hanging out with the wrong kind of ladies!!!

My 'money gift' as you call it or 'Sin Sodt' in Thai (basically it's a dowry) is 50,000 baht and we get back 30,000 as it's mainly for show and everybody realises that a couple need money after they get married. It's a tradition to show everybody that you are able to take care of your new wife but most people get some or all of it back after the wedding.

Beautiful wedding Luca, thank you for sharing

  • @soul0luos Oh yeah, and I had the recent pleasure of visiting Italia, another beautiful country! Molto bene!

  • Beautiful wedding! Did you meet your wife in Thailand? I plan to move there in a year or so. Best wishes to the both of you!

  • same date that i married may i bollow your clip for show my hubby what that wedding looklike please

  • @kamicov Hello. I, too, am a Farang married to a Thai lady. I will answer your question and tell you that you do not have to be Buddhist or speak Thai to have the wedding ceremony. They would appreciate it if you speak Thai but it's not a requirement.

  • @thecutefacedweasel $30,000 U.S.? Are you crazy?! I guess the price has gone up alot in the past 7 years.

  • I went with a Japanese wife. Thai not my thing.
